Controversial North Korean rocket launch ends in failure

The much anticipated launch of a rocket in North Korea failed on Friday, after it disintegrated over the Yellow Sea just minutes after take off.
 
Pyongyang claims it was an attempt to place a satellite into orbit, but critics say it was a covert test of long-range missile technology.
